Merino 1/polyester blend keeps you dry and comfortable in warm to hot conditions.
Though it looks nearly level from a distance, running the Tonto Plateau requires shifting through talus, dodging yucca and zigzagging from canyon bottom to ridgeline. This versatile crew, made with the lightest of our merino wool fabrics, keeps you dry and comfortable from the run's first toe-crunching descent to the final quad-burning climb. Merino is naturally breathable, regulates body temperature and stretches. It's naturally soft and resists odor. Our wool comes from non-mulesed Australian merino sheep. We slow wash it for softness and shrink resistance without the use of chlorine, then blend it with 35% polyester (100% recycled) for better durability, faster dry times and moisture transfer superior to that of 100% merino. The set-in sleeves and offset side seams lie smoothly beneath pack straps. Machine-wash cold; machine dry at low temperatures. Fabric is bluesign approved.
