The Ultimate Trail Running Sock!
Blisters on the feet are a common sports injury and seem inevitable when running ultra long
distances, especially on trails because of the rough and uneven footing.
When running, feet get hot and perspire, causing wicking fiber socks to become wet. Moisture
weakens the skin and significantly increases friction between socks and skin. The higher the
friction, the greater the chance of getting blisters. Higher friction limits skin surface movement, but still
allows inner tissue movement causing a shearing effect. Shearing physically separates the two skin layers
which fill with fluid, forming a blister.
3D Advanced Fit
Drymax's sock sizes fit because they were developed on special
3D shaped foot models. Each sock includes a color size mark for easy match-up after laundering.
| Sock size | Men's US Shoe size | Women's US Shoe Size |
| Small | 3.5-5.5 | 5.0-7.0 |
| Medium | 6.0-8.0 | 7.5-9.5 |
| Large | 8.5-10.5 | 10.0-12.0 |
| X-Large | 11.0-13.0 |

Drymax Maximum Protection Trail Running socks help prevent blisters during long distance trail runs. In addition, they're great for people who are generally prone to getting blisters. The patented Blister Guard system incorporates friction free ePTFE (expanded Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibers in the sock's entire foot area.
|
|
ePTFE has the lowest Coefficient-of-Friction of any fiber, making it the best at
keeping friction low between the skin and sock. Pairing ePTFE fibers with Drymax fibers provides the driest possible
anti-blister sock.
|
|
Its low friction allows the Maximum Protection Trail Running Sock with the Blister Guard
system to stay cooler and drier, reducing the chances of getting hot spots and blisters.
|
Extra Protection
Trail dirt inside a sock is a bad thing; it can rub the skin raw and cause blisters. To help prevent dirt &
debris from getting inside, Drymax Maximum Protection Trail Running socks do not include any vents.
Max Pro Trail Running Socks Keep Feet Dry!
Wet feet can be a trail runner's worst enemy, and getting wet feet is almost inevitable. Moisture causes
blisters, Athlete's Foot, odor-causing bacteria and over-all discomfort. The leg of the sock is made with
Drymax fibers to repel water, so when a runner splashes through a creek, the top of the socks stay drier.
|
The laws of physics dictate that no single fiber technology attracts and repels moisture at
the same time. In order to overcome this, Drymax Maximum Protection Trail Running
socks utilize two different interwoven fiber technologies. This dual-layer
design creates a self-contained Moisture Removal System, keeping feet dry &
comfortable in cold, hot, and wet conditions.
|
Drymax fibers do not wick, as they are Super Hydrophobic (water repelling). On a
molecular level, moisture doesn't stick to the inner layer of Drymax terry loops.
This unique property allows Drymax fibers to mechanically lift sweat off the skin like a
squeegee and transfer it to the sock's moisture attracting outer layer.
Drying time is important. You can't stop during a trail run to allow your socks to dry out. Drymax socks
need almost NO drying time; they dry at the speed of sweat.
Anti-Blister System
|
Several features work together as an anti-blister system to
actively prevent the formation of blisters. 1) Exceptional 3D fit, 2) Five sock sizes, 3)
Seamless insides, 4) An instep-hugging arch band, and 5) Because Drymax socks stay
dry, the skin stays dry too - blisters normally caused by sweat or sweat vapor are prevented.

Active Odor Control
The MicroZap antimicrobial in the Drymax
Fibers is a silver - zirconium phosphate ceramic ion-exchange resin. It fights
odor-causing bacteria, which keep the socks odor free. MicroZap is molecularly infused into our Drymax fibers. MicroZap provides long term Active Odor Control.
Long Lasting Comfort, Durability & Looks
The special fibers used in our Drymax Max Pro Trail Running Socks have a comfortable
springiness and do not get stiff, shrink or lose shape over time. They're designed to last a long time.
