Ohlone Wilderness 50K

We're sponsoring this race again in 2008, with goodie bag items for all runners, and ZombieRunner Rookie of the Year prize packages for first man and woman competing in their first ultra.

When: Sun, May 18, 2008
Where: Start: Fremont, CA. Finish: Livermore, CA
The Race: The Ohlone 50K is a point-to-point race traversing the entire Ohlone Wilderness Trail, a tough 31 mile distance run on trails and fire roads. The trail crosses sections of four East Bay Regional Parklands: Mission Peak Regional Preserve, Sunol Regional Wilderness, Ohlone Regional Wilderness, and Del Valle Regional Park.

Where: Start: Badwater, Death Valley, CA. Finish: Mt. Whitney Poral
The Race: The start line is at Badwater, Death Valley, which marks the lowest elevation in North America at 280 feet(85m) below sea level. The race finishes at Mt. Whitney Portal at 8360' (2533m). The Badwater course covers three mountain ranges for a total of 13,000 feet (3962m) of cumulative vertical ascent and 4,700 feet (1433m) of cumulative descent.

There are rocks, roots and wet stuff. Your dogs will get dirty!

Fri-Sun, July 28-30, 2006	San Francisco Marathon and Expo	San Francisco, CA	The course now runs on the Golden Gate Bridge. Our second year at this expo. Thanks to Julie Fingar, who does a great job organizing the event.
Mon-Wed, July 24-26, 2006	Keihl's Badwater Ultramarathon	Death Valley, CA	Death Valley to Mount Whitney -- 130 degrees, 135 miles, 60 hours. ZombieRunner is an official sponsor. We did mobile foot care up and down the course. What an amazing time we had!
Sat-Sun, July 15-16, 2006	Tahoe Rim Trail 50K, 50M, 100M	Spooner Lake State Park, NV	Beautiful and challenging run with views of the Lake. We're a sponsor and we'll have our booth at the race, and we'll run (Gillian the 50K and DC the 100 miler).
Sat-Sun, June 24-25, 2006	Western States 100M	Squaw Valley, CA	The 100 miler that started it all, through the Sierras from Squaw Valley to Auburn. We'll have our booth for pre-race.

Fri-Sun, May 5-7, 2006	Marathon de Mayo and Expo	Reno, NV	Inaugural marathon starts and finishes in downtown Reno, with plenty of Latin music along the way. We'll have a booth at the expo and run the marathon.
Sat, April 29, 2006	Cosumnes River College 24 Hour	San Francisco, CA	This is the first year for this race. We're running this one and we're providing goodie bag items for the runners.
Sat, April 22, 2006	Ruth Anderson Ultra Runs	San Francisco, CA	Run a 4.5-mile loop around Lake Merced. We're a sponsor and we'll have our Zombie booth at the race. We plan to run the 50K.
Sat, April 1, 2006	American River 50 Mile	Sacramento, CA	A great first-time 50 miler with the first half on bike path and the second on trails. We had a great time running in the mud, and we put something in the goodie bags.

Fri-Sun, March 17-19, 2006	LA Marathon and Expo	Los Angeles, CA	Biggest road marathon in the West. We had 5 people helping us in our booth at the expo. Hard work, but lots of fun!
Sat, March 11, 2006	Way Too Cool 50K	Cool, CA	The most popular early 50K of the season on scenic trails along the American River. We volunteered at the Highway 49 crossing.
Thu-Sun, February 23-26, 2006	Coyote Four Play	Oxnard, CA	4 days (and nights) of running and entertainment. We sponsored the event and ran about 80 miles.
Sat, February 6, 2006	Jed Smith Ultra Classic (30K/50K/50M)	Sacramento, CA	The Jed Smith Ultra Classic is a championship event in the 2006 PA/USATF Ultra Grand Prix Series. ZombieRunner was a race sponsor. We were there with our booth on what turned out to be a fine sunny day.
