One other thing I've noticed with the Bondi B. The white/citrus has a totally different fit than the grey model. My white/citrus fit true to size and had an ample toe box. The grey model I received fit much narrower in the toe box, may have been about true to size but I'd suggest going up at least half a size mainly because the tight fit in the toe box area. Can't speak about the Mafate.

I've found that here in the ridiculously hot and humid midwest, the dress is the coolest thing on a sweaty day... the breeze goes ALL the way up and keeps me from overheating. I agree with the no pockets dilemma though.

I have yet to figure out how to actually get all the air out. But after running for enough hours, I find I can block just about anything out! I mean, what's a little sloshing noise compared to 10 hour tire legs screaming at me?!

I love my pack! I just need a bigger one next.

If you turn the bladder upside down and suck all the air out there will be no sloshing. I love mine, I can't stand carrying hand helds over a long distance.

I have this hydro pack and love it! I just wish that the front pockets fit my iphone better. I'm always afraid it's going to fall out for some reason.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that there is a solution to the "sloshing". When you fill the bladder up, very carefully remove all the air while sealing the slider. You will find this reduces the sloshing to make it almost disappear.

Gillian,
I had a VHS copy of ABC's coverage of the 1985 WS100, which is the greatest running tape ever...but, I lost it and I'm trying to find another copy. Do you know of any?
Bob
WS100 92' and 95'

I went straight to vibrams, when living in los altos hills. Had to learn how to feel the ground and be safe from toe stubs and that sort of thing, and also build up the long dormant strength. Feet came first, then calves. Running pavement has been more of a challenge. Nike 5.0 and now 3.0 with some vibram "training" thrown in. It's taking a while to get this right but I love it.
